Quartio vs Notion AI: company memory that writes itself

Notion AI works on what the team keeps in Notion and in connected apps: it writes, searches and takes meeting notes. Quartio reads email, WhatsApp, meetings and documents itself, records agreements with their source and keeps track of matters to the end.

Quartio

An operating system for owners of companies of a few to a few dozen people. It reads email, WhatsApp, meeting notes and documents, records agreements with their source, keeps track of matters and prepares the work for your approval. Every company gets its own server.

Notion AI

AI built into Notion, the team’s pages, documents, databases and projects. Notion Agent carries out tasks in the workspace, AI Meeting Notes takes meeting notes, and Enterprise Search also searches connected apps such as Slack and Google Drive.

Memory that writes itself.

Notion AI is as good as the pages and databases someone keeps. Quartio reads email, WhatsApp and meetings itself and records agreements with their source at once, with no copying over.

Matters, not only documents.

Notion organises the team’s knowledge and projects. Quartio keeps track of matters: who promised what, by when, and what waits for your decision.

A server of your company’s own.

In Quartio every company has its own server in the European Union. Notion states that model providers do not train on customer data and, on the Enterprise plan, do not keep it.

When to choose Quartio, and when Notion AI?

Choose Quartio if

  • Agreements are made by email, on WhatsApp and in meetings, and nobody has time to copy them over.
  • You need a company memory that knows which agreement holds.
  • You want the company’s own server and an onboarding with the founders.

Choose Notion AI, if

  • You want to write, search and automate work inside Notion itself.
  • The company’s knowledge lives mostly in Notion, Slack and Google Drive.

Questions before you choose

Will Quartio replace Notion?

It doesn’t have to. Documents, projects and databases can stay in Notion. Quartio keeps track of matters from email, WhatsApp and meetings and can connect to Notion, like more than 3,200 other apps.

Can I use both?

Yes. Notion stays the place for documents and projects, while Quartio keeps track of agreements from email, WhatsApp and meetings and can connect to Notion.

How much does it cost?

Quartio is a monthly subscription for the company. We give the amount at the first meeting, once we know how many people and tools it covers, and put it in the order before the start. The first meeting costs nothing.

How much work does the start take?

At the first meeting we pick one matter and connect only the sources it needs, together. You check the answers on your own matters straight away, and the scope grows once you see the benefit.
